President's Message
It is hard to believe that it is the end of the school year! As I spend some time reflecting on this year and thinking about the PTSA, it is apparent to me that we are all important members of an amazing school at CMM. A big part of what brings the school together, are the events, activities, committees, and efforts of the PTSA. I consider it a privilege to have the opportunity to work with the children, parents and faculty of CMM. A special thank-you to the Executive Committee and all the committee chairpersons and volunteers for helping to make this year a success! No matter what role you played, large or small, each of you was an important contributor. Your continuous support ultimately benefits the children in our school and helps to make a difference in their lives and will make our school a better place.
I look forward to continuing to volunteer for the PTSA in many ways in the future, and I am confident and excited to know that we have a solid leadership as we move into the 2019- 2020 school year. I know Amy Watts and the new Executive Board will do an amazing job! Once again, thank you to everyone for volunteering and supporting the PTSA. You should be proud of the huge difference you made in your child's education this year.

Principal's Message
Caddo Middle Magnet is ending the school year, but what an exciting year it has been! We are truly blessed with such excited students, faculty, and parents. This has been a very successful year and I am so proud of our school's accomplishments!
Thanks to Kendra Meiki for all she has done in leading our CMM PTSA this year. She has been an outstanding president, and we appreciate her hard work in supporting our school in so many ways. There has never been a time when she was called upon that she didn't respond!
Renaissance Faire - Thanks to all of the sixth grade teams and for an outstanding day. Our very own sixth grade lord and ladies marched in a procession and began the 2019 Renaissance Faire. This was a culminating activity celebrating the study of the Renaissance Period. Students were able to play games, eat good food and enjoy friends on a perfect sunny day.
Congratulations to our CMM Band, Choir, and Orchestra! All 3 musical groups competed in festivals and received SUPERIOR rankings. We are fortunate to have so much talent at CMM! Thank you to Mrs. Fanning (band), Mrs. Dowd (choir), and Mrs. Webb (orchestra) for your efforts.
CMM is still maintaining our focus of integrating technology. As of today, we have SMARTBoards or Interactive TVs in all of our classrooms. We also have 20 Chromebook carts. This is because of the tremendous support from Pegasus, PTSA, and teachers who look for creative ways to fund needs. We
will continue to meet the goal of providing needed technology to meet the needs of our students and teachers.
CMM wishes Mrs. Hudson the best as she begins her retirement. She has given so much to our school, and her talent, energy, and knowledge will be missed! Best of luck to Mrs. Hudson!
I hope everyone has a wonderful summer and enjoys much needed family time!!!

Renaissance Faire
The Renaissance Faire was terrific this year! Even though it was a little muddy, the weather cooperated with our outside festivities!
The 6th graders enjoyed the bagpiper, food and games (especially the cake
walk).
A huge thank you to all the parents who helped make this day so special through your donations and volunteering your time. We could not have done it without you!
We are also very grateful to the teachers who help make this event happen, as well as all the students who dressed in costumes and enjoyed the day!
