What is contract operating?
Contract operating is the act of providing or performing, by a third party, all, or predominantly all, of the services that the operator of an oil and/or gas well, property or asset is responsible for performing on behalf of the joint account (operator and working interest partners).

What services do you perform?
We perform all of the services necessary to assemble the acreage, cure the title, drill, complete, equip, produce, maintain, service and ultimately plug and abandon an oil and/or gas well (including all of the back office functions) with the exception of the geological, geophysical or reservoir engineering services. How do you charge for services?
Generally we take the defined COPAS compensation that the operator is entitled to through the joint operating agreement as our compensation. We can also charge on a negotiated fee basis if that is preferable to the customer.

Do you perform back office services?
Yes. We provide stand-alone or integrated back office services (cost and revenue accounting, land, regulatory, etc.) for a number of our clients.

What is the average number of years of experience for Brammer employees?
Many of our employees have been with us 10-15 years or more. Currently the average length of service throughout the organization is 10 years per employee and our employees average 28 years of industry experience.

How many engineers are on staff?
Currently there are 13 degreed engineers on staff and four of those are professional engineers (PE's) in a number of states.  

Do you perform safety and environmental work and consulting?
Yes. We perform these services as stand-alone services for some clients and as fully-integrated services for others for whom we contract operate. These services would include air permits and reporting, Tier II reporting, SPCC plans, Phase I surveys, environmental and safety audits, safety tech services, safety and environmental training, preparation of safety and environmental manuals, etc.  For more information about Brammer HSE Services, please click here.
