It is with all good wishes and a touch of sadness that we share the news of the departure of Canon Gregory Jacobs from our diocesan staff.

After serving the diocese for 11 years as Canon to the Ordinary and Chief of Staff, Greg has announced his intention to retire effective July 1. Read more.

A farewell reception for Canon Jacobs is planned for Thursday, June 20 from 5:30 PM until 8 PM at Episcopal House. A festive Celebration of Ministry Evensong will be held at St. Paul’s Church, Englewood on Sunday, June 23 at 3 PM with a reception following.

Senior Ministries Evensong & Hegg Awards 2019

You are invited to join Bishop Carlye Hughes and Senior Ministries of the Diocese of Newark for the 23rd Annual Senior Ministries Evensong and the presentation of the David P. Hegg II Lifetime Achievement Awards.

Each congregation is invited to choose one to two honorees. The deadline for submitting Honoree information is Friday, May 31.
