PRAYER THOUGHT
Trust in God does NOT mean that everything will go the way you want it to. Nor does trusting God entitle you to a problem-free life. God doesn't have to explain everything that is going on, and He can use anything to bring about His will. The Bible says, In this world, we will have trouble."
Trusting God means no matter what happens, you will turn TO Him instead of away. God is just, fair, and righteous. Because of this truth, trusting Him means that whatever we suffer will be used for our ultimate good.
ACTION PLAN
Trust is about focus. When you focus on the events around you, your trust in God dwindles. But, when you focus on God first and trust Him, you have hope in whatever comes your way. As you pray this morning, trust God completely. Give our country and the people in it to God. Trust Him with them and let your hope in Him shine through.
