Study materials are available in the sanctuary. Questions? Contact Penny in the church office at 630 879 7163 or church@immanuelbatavia.org.

NOTE: No class on Wed., Jul. 4.
Shipwrecked VBS at Immanuel
MON.-FRI., JUN. 18-22, 9-11:30 AM
Immanuel hosts this summer event for kids age 3 to those entering fifth grade the week of Jun. 18-22. At Shipwrecked VBS, kids discover that Jesus rescues them! They participate in memorable Bible-learning activities, sing catchy songs, play teamwork-building games, devour yummy treats, experience one-of-a-kind Bible adventures, collect Bible Memory Buddies to remind them of God’s love, and test out Sciency-Fun Gizmos they’ll take home and play with all summer long. Plus, kids will learn to look for evidence of God all around them through God Sightings. Each day concludes with the Sail Away Sendoff that gets everyone involved in living what they’ve learned. Family members and friends are encouraged to join us daily for this special time at 11:15 AM.

Kids at Shipwrecked VBS will join a mission effort to provide school supplies for local children in need. More than 100 volunteers work each year to provide this fun summer opportunity to learn more about Jesus for more than 300 children. To learn more, to register to volunteer, or to register a child click here .
Staffing Update
STAFFING NEWS
The members of Immanuel voted unanimously to call two individuals to serve as full-time teachers at ILS. Please pray for these individuals as they deliberate and seek God's will. Please also pray for their current schools, as decisions made may impact their staffing as well.

The Youth Director Call Committee has been formed an d is accepting names of appropriate candidates that Immanuel families feel would be qualified (please see Position Information below) and interested in being considered for the position. Please communicate candidate information to Staci Circelli at circelli5@comcast.net or 630 453 8598. This information may also be shared with Pr. Kennaugh at 630 879 7163 or via email at ekennaugh@immanuelbatavia.org .

Two positions are also available in the church nursery. An application packet is attached here. These are part-time positions, hours as scheduled. Please submit applications by Mon., Jun. 11 to Mary Wert, Director of Children’s Ministries. Completed applications can be brought or mailed to the church office.

Please continue to keep this process, and everyone involved, in your prayers.
