SUMMER 2018
Dear Friends,

We are pleased to be sending you our 2018 summer edition of "The Contributor," our electronic newsletter.  Stories in this issue highlight some of the activities that have been going on at the Beatrice Community Hospital Foundation the past few months.

I recently came upon this quote:

"While it is well enough to leave footprints on the sands of time, it is even more important to make sure they point in a commendable direction." - James Cabell

Today, our hospital is stronger than ever thanks to generous individuals, organizations, corporations and foundations. These partnerships support the exceptional and innovative care our community has grown to expect at Beatrice Community Hospital and Health Center.

Thank you for leaving your "footprints on the sand of time" and pointed "in a commendable direction."  Enjoy reading about all the good things that have been happening as a result.

Gratefully,

Sam Rennick

DRIVEN TO GIVE from the HEART!
On Friday, June 8, you have the opportunity to spend just a few minutes driving a new Lincoln vehicle and earn money for a worthy cause.  For each person who drives, the Lincoln Motor Company will donate $20 (or even more) to the BCH Foundation.  And what's even better, the proceeds will be added to the "I GIVE from the HEART" campaign.

Please make a point to participate on Friday and to encourage others to do so as well.  The "Driven to Give" event will take place on the south side of the east parking lot of the hospital between 9AM - 4:30PM.
First Flight Winners: Edward Jones Team.
Centurian Cup Challenge Golf Tournament and Helicopter Golf Ball Drop
More than 160 golfers participated in the Centurian Cup Challenge golf tournament held on Friday, May 11 at the Beatrice Country Club.

This year's Centurian Cup Challenge featured another "helicopter golf ball drop."  Golfers and other generous supporters of the BCH Foundation purchased a total of 425 golf balls.
