CONGRATULATIONS, 6th GRADERS!
Congratulations to Mrs. Obersinner and our 6th grade students on a wonderful Living Saints Presentation on Friday!

UPDATES
REQUIRED FOR ALL RETURNING FAMILIES - Sweatshirt & T-Shirt ordering
All students will receive both a uniform sweatshirt and a Jog-A-Thon t-shirt for the 18-19 school  year. All families are asked to place their student(s) order for next year. 
CLICK HERE to place your order. You must submit 1 order per student.
Orders must be placed by Wednesday, June 13. 

8th Grade Brunch RSVPs due TOMORROW
Don't forget to RSVP to  Danielle Hauser for the 8th grade graduation brunch following the 8th grade farewell Mass on Monday, June 11. Two guests per graduate are free, there is a $10 charge per additional guest. Payments can be turned into Barb at the front office.

Pizza Friday is this week!
Friday, June 8 is Pizza Friday. $1 per slice/drink. Thank you to our Pizza Moms, to our friends at Domino's Pizza, and to Student Council for making our Pizza Days happen!  

Piano Teacher Needed
Do you play piano? We are looking for a parent to help with our choir by being an accompanist. This would be during the fall, while Mrs. Leonard is on maternity leave. We have a staff member who will be the choir director but we are in need of a piano player. This would fulfill FIP hours. Choir meets  Monday  and Wednesday from  7:30 - 8:00am.  Please contact Mrs. Conway if you are interested.  

Early departures for summer
The last day of school is Tuesday, June 19. If your student(s) will be leaving for summer prior to the last day of school, please email Barb ASAP to let her know . Please make sure your students gather all belongings from the school and classroom before you leave.

Lost & Found
Please make sure to browse the lost & found to collect any items belonging to your family. All unclaimed items will be donated at the end of the school year. 

FIP Hours Due by June 15
FIP statements were sent home with all families last week. If you would like to pay off your remaining hours, please send in a check made out to O'Hara Catholic School and write FIP Hours in the memo section. 

All Family Involvement Hours for the 2017-18 school year must be completed AND entered into the online system by June 15.  Hours not completed will be billed to your family at the rate of $15/hour.

Remember:  FIP hours are logged online and must be entered by each individual family. To log your hours, visit O'Hara's homepage and click FIP hours under the  Family Login Menu  (password: riseup).

REMINDERS
All Library Books Due Now
Unless your student is using a book for a school project, all books should be turned in to the library. Books not returned will be charged to your account and invoices will be mailed home.

Summer Reading Info from Mrs. Booth & Mrs. Gori
It's that time of year again! Summer will be here soon. We are again planning to have a summer reading program for interested students. Read at least 10 books over the summer, and in the fall we'll have a popsicle party to celebrate. Keep track of the books read and turn the log in to Mrs. Gori or Mrs. Booth in the fall. Keep up those reading skills by enjoying some good books over the summer!

Pictures Needed
Work on the 17-18 yearbook is underway and we need your pictures! Please send pictures to  pictures@oharaschool.org. Note: if sending pictures from your smart device, please send them at full/actual size, and please don't send cropped images.

O'Hara's School Day Schedule for 18-19
Due to the changes that 4J will be making to standardize their school schedules next year, we have received a number of questions regarding O'Hara's 18-19 school day schedule. Our school schedule will remain the same, and is as follows:

Start for all students:   8:05am
End for PreS - 3rd grade:   2:45pm (2:10 on Wednesdays)
End for 4th - 8th grade:   3:05pm (2:30 on Wednesdays)

Directory Advertisements for the 2018-19 School Year 
We are in the process of putting together our school directory for the 2018-19 school year, and would like to offer you the opportunity to place an ad.
 
To place your ad, please fill out this online form The form can also be accessed from the  O'Hara website .
 
All ads are printed in black and white and are priced as follows:
  • Full page ad (approximately 4.75" wide x 8" tall) $200.00
  • 1/2 page ad (approximately 4.75" wide x 3.75" tall) $100.00
  • Business card ad (approximately 3.5" wide x 2" tall) $50.00
Ads are due no later than July 16. Please contact  Danielle Hauser  if you have any questions.

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES AT O'HARA
Volunteers needed for 8th grade graduation
Volunteers are needed to help with the 8th grade graduation brunch, reception & dance. Click  HERE to view the volunteer spots and consider signing up to help. It is a fun way to get the last of your FIP hours in!

Field Day Volunteers Needed
Mrs. Meyer is looking for parents to volunteer at Field Day. Twenty-five volunteers are needed to make this fun day happen. Field Day falls on the last day of school,  June 19; this is a half day of school. The volunteer time commitment is from  9:00am - 11:30am
