TECNA Digest - May 2019

TECNA Board Chair Message
TECNA members serve over 22,000 companies across Canada and the United States, exciting tech companies whose innovation and success we celebrate every day. And of course, most of us have been involved with or attended industry awards dinners and events that recognize excellence at the company and individual levels.
Last month, we launched the first ever TECNA Innovation Awards. Like the industries we serve, these awards are an opportunity for us to recognize our team members who are building the technology ecosystem in unique and innovative ways. They are an opportunity to celebrate the exceptional work our staff do with and for our member companies and in our communities every day. This July at the TECNA Summer Conference in Madison, we will celebrate the first winners of our new awards, deserving individuals or teams that have distinguished themselves through innovative and impactful work on behalf of their councils. Most of us, I believe, have deserving candidates on our staff.
The TECNA Innovation Awards give us a platform to celebrate their efforts and leadership with their peers, just as our member companies do. The deadline for nominations is fast approaching so please check out the TECNA Innovation Awards at tecna.org/innovation-awards and consider making a nomination.
