A Note From Pastor Linda
Join me in giving glory to the LORD. Let us praise his name together. ~Psalm 34
Who have you INVITED to Hosanna?
INVITE: verb- make a polite, formal or friendly request to someone to go somewhere or to do something
Why be an inviting church?
First, because Jesus said to do it. If that isn't enough, I have challenged you to do it. If that still isn't enough, consider this: the world NEEDS what we have!
In a world divided- we offer a place where all are welcome.
In a world of scarcity- we offer abundance.
In a world of isolation and fear- we offer an authentic community based on love and service.
Why wouldn't you want to INVITE someone to join you?
Sunday is the BIG SING & RING~ a worship experience led by the Hosanna Choir and Bells. About music:
- Plato said- Music gives a soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination and life to everything.
- Confucius said- Music produces a kind of pleasure which human nature cannot do without.
- Leonard Bernstein said- Music... can name the unnameable and communicate the unknowable.
Church reformer Martin Luther said about music, "Next to the Word of God, the noble art of music is the greatest treasure in the world." Share this treasure with a friend. Invite them! Pick them up! Save them a seat!
Be The Church!
