Tandem Tour

Years ago my husband and I joined a tandem bike tour of the Napa and Sonoma Valleys.  We rented a tandem, broke the bike chain on our first 15 mile loop and had to walk the bike five miles back to the hotel...not a strong start. But, we ended up loving the experience and purchased a similar bike soon after.  Last week our tandem took us to Coeur d'Alene on Sunday and back home Monday, where we saw fewer than 100 people over our 90 miles.  Incredible!  If you have not ventured out to enjoy our two-state Centennial Trail, I encourage you to do so soon.  The river, scenery, trees, flowers and people are an amazing sight -- and the more who enjoy it, the better the experience for all.

My best,

Loreen McFaul, Executive Director
