The Penny Carnival is a fun tradition that will continue
at The Academy. 
This year the Penny Carnival will be held on Fat Tuesday, February 25, 2020 from 1:00 - 2:00 in the school cafeteria. all games and raffle tickets will cost a quarter or fifty cents. There will also be a food court for students to purchase pizza, popcorn and drinks. All proceeds will go to St. Joan of Arc Uganda. This event is run by the 7th and 8th grade students.  

Forms were sent home yesterday for students to purchase raffle tickets.

Dear Parents,

The Future is Now Gala is this Saturday. It is a wonderful way to celebrate with friends and meet new ones. We are really looking forward to an exciting event that will directly benefit The Academy. We hope to see you there!

Next Tuesday, our 7th and 8th graders will be hosting the annual Penny Carnival as a fun way to both celebrate Mardi Gras and raise funds for a great cause. All proceeds will benefit St. Joan of Arc Uganda. Students should come in their school uniforms (7th and 8th grade may come out of uniform and dressed in Mardi Gras colors)

As we prepare for Lent, we were reminded today during Mass by Fr. Anderson that we want to be the face of Jesus to all and that we need to act like Jesus and live out his message. These are important words to reflect upon as we enter into the Lenten season next week. Please join us on Wednesday to receive ashes at the 8:30am Mass.

We continue to count our blessings for the support of The Academy families.

Spare Change for
Australian Wildlife Refuge
Thanks to the Spare Change contirbutions of our students we raised over $500 for the Wildlife Refuge. And the class raising the most change and winning the Pizza Day lunch was the mighty Junior Kindergarten.
