Hello Theatre Lovers!

As I write this newsletter I am just bursting with excitement!  In just one week we will open our summer theatre season with a new play, in a new space!

Kristen Da Silva has written a beautiful play about a family going through life’s trials and tribulations, but who do so with tremendous humour and love.  WHERE WE ARE will make you laugh your head off, and you may shed a little tear, but most of all you will be entertained by this wonderful piece of work by this young, female, Canadian playwright, coming to us from our friends at Theatre Orangeville.

We have placed this beautiful piece of work in the very intimate Simcoe Street Theatre. The set is stunning and I promise you will have a theatre experience like nothing you have had before. How delightful it is to be so up close to the performers! The theatre only has 100 seats. To accommodate our ticket buyers we have added 2 more matinees. We will be offering general seating for this show but please feel free to call the box office if you have any special requests.
T he shows will run:

Tuesday, May 21 st  8 pm
Wednesday, May 22 nd  2pm & 8pm
Thursday, May 23 rd  2pm & 8pm
Friday, May 24 th  8pm
Saturday, May 25 th  2pm & 8pm
We also have 2 special announcements for this production:
1.      If you come to either our Saturday matinee performance or evening performance we are offering ICE CREAM SATURDAYS. Come enjoy a free ice cream on us!

2.      If you are 30 years old or under, or if you are an arts worker, we would like to offer you our student price of just $20! (Actually, if you qualify for this AND come on the Saturday you will get ice cream too!)
Quotes from audience members in Orangeville:
