Since last month . . .

Our Spring Post-England Show is now just over a week behind us, and we're very pleased with the result. Our "Sunday Splash" - a Sunday morning email listing nearly 100 fresh pieces - enabled newsletter subscribers from far away to participate in the excitement of the Opening - and many of you did as we had hoped. We will surely make th e Sunday Splash a part of our future openings.

As in the past, this first newsletter after the show contains some of our favorites that are still in the shop after the weekend. These pieces have been added to the appropriate galleries on our website, and more new listings will be added each month during the next few months.

The land upon which our house and barns sit has just been placed in conservation with the Franklin Land Trust. At about the same time, an industrious family of beavers have staked claim to a section of  Pumpkin Hollow Brook, the small stream that runs through it. We think that the historic mowing that abuts the brook will continue to be a viable source of hay, sharing our property with the wildlife that have begun to find it. Click the picture for an example.
