"California at Bat: America's Pastime in the Golden State" opens July 29, 2018
This an all-new exhibit chronicles the state’s legacy of all-star players and the ground-breaking contributions of women, African American and other players through the display of more than 200 rarely-seen, Cooperstown-worthy photographs and artifacts.
 
Curated and produced by the California Museum, highlights include uniforms and equipment used in historic games by Ted Williams, Joe DiMaggio, Willie Mays, Sandy Koufax, Rickey Henderson and many more. In addition, objects from Edmonds Field, home of the Sacramento Solons until 1960, explore the local ballpark experience . Learn more .
