Alexandra Monir Book Signings In Los Angeles & New York
IAWF invites you to join us in support our talented member, Alexandra Monir , at the launch of her new novel, The Life Below , the sequel to her hit science-fiction adventure, The Final Six. Her novels feature a brilliant young Iranian-American girl on a mission in space. Southern California members can join us at Barnes & Noble at The Grove in LA on Tuesday, February 18th starting at 7:00 PM. New York members can join us at the Barnes & Noble in Tribeca on Thursday, February 20th at 7:00 PM. These are all-ages events. Find more information about the LA event here and the NY event here .

Celebrate International Women's Day with IAWF
In honor of International Women's Day, IAWF will be hosting an engaging and exciting panel with some inspiring mother-daughter duos in our community. Join us for an Up Close va Personal conversation on Wednesday, March 4th at Hotel Irvine. We'll see you at 5:30 PM for an evening reception, followed by a panel which will cover topics relevant to being a woman in today's society. This event is free and we hope to see you there!
Mental Health Talk in Mountain View
IAWF's Northern California Chapter hosted its first Mental Health Talk in partnership with El Camino Hospital on Wednesday, February 5th. Members gathered to share a much-needed conversation about emotional first aid with the generous help of professionals. Thank you to all those who attended, and we look forward to more events like this in the future.
IAWF Celebrates Angella Nazarian's New Book
IAWF's Board of Directors joined our accomplished member, Angella Nazarian, in Orange County for a celebration of her latest book, Creative Couples: Collaborations that Changed History . This book examines the different forms that a couple can take, and examines some particular relationships that made significant cultural impacts. IAWF is proud to support Angella as she shares her stories with our community around the country, and we wish her the best on this journey!
