Greeson Family Moving News

The Youth will be helping set up a few things at the Greeson's house on Wednesday evening following Vespers. They will be helping line the shelves and hanging a welcome banner. Parents and any others who want to help are welcome as well! Come to Vespers first at the Church.

The Greeson family arrives this Saturday (June 9) around 2 pm at their home (105 Arizona i n Oak Ridge). Come and help! We need volunteers to help unload the truck and settle them in. Those coming to help with the move are invited to bring a Lenten snack to share. Any food left after the move-in will be taken to the parish hall for a meal following Saturday Vespers. We need some youth volunteers to help serve snacks and drinks on Saturday as we unload the Greeson's truck, and possibly to keep an eye on the young children as well.

Sunday Work Day (front landscaping)

The foundation repair this Spring left things in a bit of a mess. Come prepared to roll up your sleeves. We should be able to make short work of it. Bring shoves, rakes, pitchforks, etc.

Women's Book Discussion Group
St. Anne's Women's Book Discussion Group   will read the book  Everywhere Present  for their next meeting  on Sunday, June 24
Have you ever referred to God as “the Man upstairs”? Many Christians living in a secular society have unwittingly relegated God and all things spiritual to the “second storey” of the universe: a realm we cannot reach except through death. The effect of this is to banish God, along with the saints and angels, from our everyday lives.  Everywhere Present  makes a compelling case for becoming aware of God’s living and active presence in every moment of our lives here and now.

St. Anne’s Bookstore has copies of the book available to purchase. Plan to join the discussion this month!
