Proud of Community Accomplishments on 10th Anniversary of Devastating Flood
I will always remember watching the news reports of the water climbing higher and higher on June 13, 2008. As we reflect on a significant anniversary and ten years of extensive community rebuilding and resilience, I want to say thank you. Your spirit and hard work made this possible. Our nonprofits have deep connections to the renewal of our community.

I will be attending the Epic Rebirth event on June 13 at Veteran's Memorial Building in downtown Cedar Rapids. The celebration is hosted by KCRG and The Gazette and is free and open to the public. More information here. I look forward to celebrating with you.

Stay connected,
