News and Updates For You
Welcome to the monthly e-newsletter for NHTI alumni and community supporters. We want to keep you up-to-date on our academic programs, upcoming events, and let you know how you can support and stay in touch with us. Thank you for being part of NHTI - Concord's Community College.
NHTI Welcome Message
With snow flurries outside my window this morning, I am reminded that no matter what, change is always happening. Sometimes we look forward to change and other times, we pretend it isn't happening.

NHTI is changing, as we always have. We want to make sure that we are meeting the needs of our students, businesses, and the greater Concord area. Offering new workforce credentials, strengthening support systems for our students, and listening to feedback from alumni is all about change.

Thank you for helping us change for the better. We would not be able to do all of this without our alumni and community supporters.

Thank you for taking the time to stay connected to NHTI. We appreciate you!

Alumni Spotlight - Theodore O'Neill

I had the pleasure of virtually meeting Theo (EET/1987) last month after he made an online donation to the NHTI Alumni Scholarship Fund. It wasn't that donation that made him stand out, although we certainly appreciated it. It was the comment he made about how NHTI changed his life that made an impression.

Please read about Theo and how his life has taken many twists and turns to get him where he is today and what role NHTI played in his journey.
On Friday, November 13th (only good luck here) we hosted a ribbon cutting for our relocated and expanded Lynx Pantry.

We know that food insecurity is an issue for many of our students and we want to make sure that we are supporting them in and outside of the classroom.

If you would like to support the Lynx Pantry, you can make a financial contribution or donate in-kind items to help stock our shelves. If you have an in-kind donation, please contact me and we can schedule a drop-off time.

A special thank you to Bar Harbor Bank & Trust, Junior Service League of Concord, and the NH Higher Education Loan Corporation for the funding to make this expansion happen.
Thank you to the Merrimack County Savings Bank Foundation for the $3,000 grant in support of the Paramedic Emergency Medicine (PEM) Program.

Congratulations to the Dental Hygiene class of 2020 on receiving a 100% pass rate (1st try too) on their licensure test.

Celebrate our Fall Scholarship recipients and thank our donors and supporters. Over $83,000 was awarded to 86 students from 24 scholarship funds. You can read more about it here and view the presentation.

Having conversations about college with your kids? Looking for a career change or just want to brush up on your skills? Attend any of these three upcoming virtual events to help answer your questions.
