Fulton County Schools is transitioning its student information system to Infinite Campus. In order to facilitate a smooth transition to Infinite Campus, we need your assistance to update your student contact information. Your student should arrive home today with a Census Verification Report. Please help us by reviewing this report and returning it to us as soon as possible, if you have changes.
If you have corrections, please make the corrections that are needed directly on the sheet and return to your child's school by May 15, 2019. If the information is correct, you do not need to return the sheet.

AP Exams continue through May 17, 2019. Due to AP Exams, audible bells will not sound at the beginning and end of school, or during class changes the week of May 6 and May 13. Students should refer to the posted bell schedule posted under Cambridge Headlines, and above for the daily bell schedule.
AP Exam reminders:
- Testing dates, times, and locations can also be found in each AP classroom and will be posted on doors.
- Students taking a morning AP Exam should report to their location by 7:30 am.
- Students taking an afternoon AP Exam should report to their location by 11:45 am.
- Due to exam start and projected end times, students will need to provide personal transportation.
- Students who are taking two AP exams on the same day should bring a sack lunch with them.
- Students in small groups or who have accommodations should refer to their notification for room location.

- Students should leave book bags, study guides, cell phones, smart and beeping watches at home. Consider bringing drawstring bags, a snack and water. Number two pencils, a blue or black pen, and a jacket/sweater should also be brought to the exam. A complete list of what students can (and cannot) bring to the exam can be found below.

AP Conflicts
Please note that on May 16 and May 17, some AP Exams may conflict with 12th-grade Final Exams. If your student has a conflict, the AP Exam takes priority. The student should work with his/her teacher to schedule a time to make up the exam during the final exam window or contact Jennifer Beard (12th-grade administrator) at [email protected] to schedule a time to make up the final exam. |

Note: The cafeteria will have lunch available for students after the last exam period on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Buses will depart at 12:45 pm.
Late Check-in Guidelines - Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday
The first exam periods on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday (May 21 - 23) are also lunch periods. During lunch periods, students who have lunch will remain in the cafeteria and will use the time to study for final exams.
Your student may arrive late rather than attend during his/her lunch period. If your student is arriving late on one of the half-day final exam days, he/she must arrive by 10:35 am. Students arriving late will remain in the cafeteria until it is time to move to the 10:40 am exam. Students riding in carpool must enter through the cafeteria doors on the north side of the building (facing Kings Ridge). Student drivers must enter through the cafeteria doors. Do not drop your student off at the front doors as they will be directed to the cafeteria side entrance. Students cannot be in the academic halls during testing.
Missed Exams
Missed Senior Exams Due to AP Testing:
Seniors who missed a Final Exam due to a conflict with AP Exams can arrange with their teacher to make up the exam during the Final Exam window. If arrangements are not made, the student should contact the 12th Grade Administrator, Ms. Beard at
[email protected] to arrange to
make up the exam before or after school from Friday, May 17 until Tuesday, May 21.
Missed Exams Due to Illness:
Students are expected to be present and on time on all testing days. If a student must miss a final exam due to illness, the parent/guardian must call the Attendance Office on the day of the absence in order for the student to take his/her exam on the make-up days.
If the Attendance Office is not alerted, the absence will be considered unexcused.
Pre-approved Absences:
All other missed exams must receive prior approval by the student's grade-level administrator. To obtain approval the parent/guardian should email the administrator
by Monday, May 13. Please include the date(s) to be missed, the subject name(s), the teacher name(s), and reason for the missed exam.
Makeup exams will take place in the Student Center and will occur on: Friday, May 24, 2019 - 8:00 am - 3:00 pm for underclassmen. Seniors should contact [email protected].
Checking Students Out
Students will not be allowed to check out while exams are in progress. Classrooms cannot be disturbed, and students will not be allowed in the academic halls. For a student to check out prior to the end of the day (during non-exam times), please have your student bring a note to the Attendance Office at the beginning of the school day. Due to the volume, the Attendance Office cannot accept emails or phone calls at check-out time.

2019 Yearbook
Online yearbook sales have officially CLOSED. Yearbooks can now only be purchased on May 15th starting at 7:30 am at the auditorium concession stand. Please come early. We will sell on a first come, first served basis (not based on grade level) and there are only 115 books left to sell. We WILL sell out.
Yearbook distribution schedule:
May 13th - Books will be distributed to SENIORS only during all lunches
May 14th - Books will be distributed to all grades during all lunches
May 15th - Books will be sold first come, first serve until we sell out starting at 7:30 am. The cost will be $100 CASH ONLY.

Seniors and Graduation Updates

Outstanding Senior Fines
Seniors will not receive their diploma at graduation if they have outstanding library books, textbooks, Surface devices or fines for any of those things. All seniors should have received a yellow notice from one of their teachers with a list of everything they have checked out from the school and any fines they have accrued. Fines and replacement fees can be paid in the Student Center by cash, check written to Cambridge High School, or credit card through
Class of 2019 Gradation 
Our graduation ceremony for the Class of 2019 will be held Thursday, May 23, 2019, at 2:30 pm, at Ameris Bank Amphitheater. Doors will open at 1:30 pm. Tickets are required for entry. All seating is in the covered amphitheater, and lawn seating will be closed.
Graduates are to arrive at the venue at 1:15 pm with their cap and gowns.
Graduates will park at the venue in lot C (11450 Maxwell Road) and proceed to the Security Checkpoint. Staff and volunteers will be on hand to direct our graduates.
Parents and guests should park in Lot A (1775 Founders Parkway) and enter the West Gate. Handicapped parking is available in parking Lot A. Should you need to drop off a family member, please do so at the East Gate (2200 Encore Parkway). Handicapped seating will be reserved by the venue until 2:00 pm and is first come first served.
Immediately following the ceremony, graduates will recess to the East (Boys) and West (Girls) to pick up their diplomas.
Graduation Ceremony Tickets
Tickets will be required to attend the ceremony at Ameris Bank Amphitheater. Each graduate will receive (12) twelve tickets and will be distributed following the mandatory graduation rehearsal on May 17. Each graduate will need to pick up and sign for their ticket allocation. Families requiring additional tickets should work within the community to obtain tickets other families may not be using.

Opportunity
Students planning to attend Perimeter College
There is a scholarship opportunity for students who are planning to attend Perimeter College in the fall. The Coca-Cola First-Generation scholarship is a $2,500 award per year, renewable for two years, and the scholarship is for students who are the first in their immediate family (parents and siblings) to attend a college/university will be considered for this scholarship.

Volunteers Needed for Graduation
Thursday, May 23 at 1:15 pm
 Adults are needed to work along-side our student volunteers during graduation on Thursday, May 23. We are looking for 10 - 12 volunteers to help collect tickets at the two gates at Ameris Bank Amphitheater. Volunteers will need to be on site by 1:15 pm, gates open at 1:30 pm.

Important Student Center Deadlines
Library and Surface Device Fines
All library books must be returned to the Student Center and all library fines paid by Friday, May 10, 2019.
All Surfaces must be returned to the Student Center and all Surfaces fines paid by Friday, May 17, 2019.
Study hall classes will be brought to the Student Center on Friday, May 17, to return their devices. Seniors or students without study hall are responsible to return their device on their own. We will accept books and Surfaces anytime! Beat the rush and return early!
Fines and replacement fees can be paid in the Student Center by cash or check written to Cambridge High School. You can also select either Library Fines or Surface Device Fines to pay online through

, if you know the amount of your fee. Seniors will not receive their diploma if they have outstanding books, textbooks, Surfaces or fines for any of those things!

Attention all Cambridge Athletes!
The sports marketing program will be hosting an award show, the Cambridge ESPY's, to congratulate student athletes on their achievements. All athletes and coaches encouraged to attend! Our own Bear ESPY, will be handed out to the winners of each category. Categories include, Best Team, Play of the Year, Dynamic Duo and Best Blooper, among 20 other awards! The ceremony will be held in the auditorium on Monday, May 20, 2019. Doors will open at 6:00 P.M. Enjoy refreshments (Chick-Fil-A), red carpet interviews and photo opportunities with the Happy Camper photo booth.

Connecting students in need
In Fulton County we are always looking to join forces with other partners and organizations who will help us make a bigger impact in the lives of the community we serve. With this vision in mind, we are excited to introduce our newest partner, Purposity, an Atlanta-based organization that will connect Fulton students in need with people in the community that can help. This is done through a mobile app designed to make it easy for neighbors to help neighbors.
By signing up, generous donors are sent a weekly notification with a specific need for a specific student. It might be a winter jacket for a middle schooler or household essentials for a high school family that lost its home in a fire. Users decide if they want to help and in just a few clicks on their phone, the need is met. They know exactly who they are helping and why. It's the simplest way to make an impact locally.
