Dear PetConnect Rescue Family,
| Calling all mothers! With Mother's Day coming up, we're paying special homage to the momma dogs and cats who were perfect moms to their puppies and kittens despite sometimes horrific beginnings. |
The little ones have found their forever homes; now it's time for these amazing moms to have their day in the sun and find their own loving homes.
Dogs like Katie, who was thrown over a fence with her 7 puppies before being taken in by PetConnect Rescue. And cats like Callie, who came from a stressful shelter setting with her 5 babies. They nourished and cared for their puppies and kittens until they were old enough to be on their own. These moms deserve their own happy endings now, and we're going to make sure they get them!

Bingru Sees America!
Bingru Wang is a reporter who makes
short
videos
for a station called Phoenix TV Hong Kong with a current running series called Bingru Sees America. Why did Bingru want to feature PetConnect Rescue?
Bingru said, "
The purpose of interviewing PetConnect is to show our audience how well-organized and planned the American adoption system is. In China, there are not so many dog shelters which left hundreds of thousands of dogs on the street or even been abused. We also hope to use the good example in the U.S. to raise awareness and improve the adoption process in China."

24-hour online fundraiser powered by
United Way of the National Capital Area. It celebrates
all the
local
nonprofits that work
hard in our communities to solve social issues.
Cats and dogs of all ages are waiting to reclaim their lives.
But, they desperately need us to be their voice and their hope.
Last year,
PetConnect Rescue brought in close to
$8,500
for our animals!

Our first Online PAW-CTION was such a success,
we decided to hold
another one!
This year's dates are from June 5th to the 15th.
As the PAW-CTION quickly approaches, we are still searching for
