Social Sips is an opportunity to bring campus face to face. It's simple, show up and grab a coffee, tea or hot chocolate, find a partner and talk for five minutes.

The first 50 people to show up will receive a free English Conversation Program mug.

Here are some conversational tips:
  • Be polite - Introduce yourself in the best way possible
  • Be curious - Find and celebrate what you have in common
  • Be pleasant - This isn't a debate, political convention or speed dating
  • Be attentive - Aim for 50/50 sharing with follow-up questions
  • Be friendly - Talk to someone you don't know

Pack It, Store It or Donate It
Each year Ohio State removes hundreds of abandoned bikes that residents leave over the summer.

Please consider donating your unused bike to Thirdhand.org this year. Residence Life will make available donation forms in the residence halls.

Envelopes will be kept at the front desk of residence halls for students who wish to donate their bikes. Just simply complete the form and return the form to the desk in the envelope.

Thirdhand.org is also a great place to purchase bikes at an affordable price.
