Cassandra Hesseltine
Humboldt-Del Norte
Film Commissioner
President, FLICS
The Humboldt-Del Norte Film Commission is here to help with your production needs  and our services are provided free of charge.

The Humboldt-Del Norte Film Commission is recognized by the County of Humboldt, County of Del Norte, and the California Film Commission  as the official advocate for filming in Humboldt and Del Norte, California.  We are  also a member of the organization FLICS (Film Liaisons in California Statewide). The Film Commissioner, Cassandra Hesseltine, is currently serving her second term as the President of FLICS.

Cassandra Hesseltine became the region's Film Commissioner in fall of 2010.  Prior to taking on the role of Film Commissioner, Cassandra worked in film and theater.

Flying into the Redwood Region is getting easier with new direct flights from Denver AND LA. Starting June 7th, you can fly straight in from Denver International Airport (DIA) to Humboldt County's Arcata/Mckinleyville airport (ACV). These new flights, from this major hub in the Rockies, makes it easy for productions from anywhere in the US to get their crew here.

Flying in from Southern California? Great news! At the end of May, there will be a second direct flight to ACV from LAX (and back!). Scheduling your flights for your production will now have some added flexibility.

So, whether you're coming to the region to shoot our redwood forests, one of our countless rivers, beautiful beaches, gorgeous hills and meadows, or searching for the unique look of our Victorian villages and Smalltown USA, our locations are within reach on these new direct flights!
