January 2020 Newsletter

In this issue we're celebrating what God has done in 2019, looking forward to 2020, sharing exciting news regarding joint men and women Battle events taking place this fall and opportunities for alumni offered throughout the year.

"I am doing something, you wouldn’t believe even if I told you." This is what I sensed God was whispering to me in the fall of 2019. As we entered the new year and connected as a staff for prayer, there seemed to be a resounding confirmation that God is stirring the unexpected. We have a growing anticipation of God’s faithfulness and increase of impact in this coming year.

I am humbled by God’s provision of resources and people to come alongside us and partner in the vision he has given us to inspire and equip men and women to become who God created them to be, experiencing his transforming love that overflows into their domain.

As we highlighted 2019 above and share that which we are looking forward to in 2020 below, I want to thank each and every one of you for the part you have played. It is a privilege to walk alongside you in partnership, hear how the Lord is moving in your lives and through you in this process. My personal favorite place in Wellspring is being at the Battle for the Heart events as I see women coming alive to their whole hearts and seeing a glimpse of the Larger Story God invites them into. It truly is an honor.

A very special thank-you to every financial partner who invested in this vision. We ended the year under our goal but grateful for God’s perfect provision.

What we're looking forward to in 2020:

Please join us in prayer for our Jan-March Battle events that are now underway. We long to see men and women living and leading from their whole hearts.

I also invite you to pray for our Leadership Team as we are in an ongoing process of discernment to understand how to effectively move into this place of expansion and increasing accessibility. We are grateful for your love and support!

Adapting for Expansion - Important Update About Our Fall Events

As we enter this new phase of product development and increasing accessibility, we are seeking to steward well our staff and volunteer army. With continued interest in the Northeast and Midwest regions we anticipate hosting Battle for Your Heart, Men and Women (joint) events in both areas.

In consideration of our staff and volunteer capacity, we have decided that our fall Battle for Your Heart events in Alabama will also be joint with both men and women teams attending the same event, August 27-30, 2020. This allows us to leverage the space and our team effectively.

This means Wellspring Group will not have an individual Battle for Men’s Hearts, or Battle for Women’s Hearts in the fall of 2020 but will resume separate events in our winter 2021 dates. We anticipate this August Battle event will fill up fast, so please plan to register as soon as registration opens on February 17, 2020. Please understand, teams will not be confirmed until all members have registered.

WANTED: Willing Vessels

We ask for your grace as we navigate through the growing pains of the Lord expanding our territory and vision for the coming years. This is a good problem to have! It further heightens our need to equip men and women who are able to serve as facilitators, speakers and administrators at these events.
