Due to community support, we are feeding more children in Brevard

The 5th Annual 18 Holes FORE 18 Kids Golf Tournament raised awareness and funds for hungry children right here in Brevard!

Waste Management, our Title Sponsor, held a Dumpster Drive Challenge which was a hit with all golfers! Sysco served as our Lunch Sponsor.

Sheriff Ivey spent time on the course meeting with golfers. “Sheriff Ivey is a great advocate of ours and he’s such an integral part of our community,” said Keith.

Held this year at Viera East Golf Club, the event wrapped up with a delicious lunch buffet. Teri and staff from Divots Grille created a fantastic chicken parmagiana. Lane Burney, golf pro, was a wonderful host for the event.

Southeast Aerospace commented, “When we strive to take care of each other, we all win!

Marine Bank & Trust stated, “Wonderful event and lots of money raised for an amazing cause!”

Heartfelt thanks to our volunteers, sponsors and participants
who made this success possible.
AVENGERS FREE MOVIE HOSTED BY PAUL DALEY WELL-ATTENDED
Avengers Endgame broke a lot of records but the one we liked the best was Saturday morning at the Oaks, hosted by Attorney Paul Daley, supporting The Children’s Hunger Project. It was well-attended and raised over $1300.00 to help feed more hungry kids locally.

"I must tell you that I am so proud of our students and Ms. Spencer. They have embraced that true leadership is service, and they are making our world a better place. Their work is literally changing lives!"
Julia A. Diakakis, Ed.D., Assistant Principal, Edgewood Jr/Sr High School
"These students are exemplars in leadership. They have really shown dedication and the ability to inspire others to work together for a common goal."
Meredith Spencer, Teacher, Edgewood CHP Club Sponsor
"It is very exciting to be starting a school based club for The Children’s Hunger Project at Edgewood Jr./Sr. High School.  We have had an amazing turn out and interest from the student body. Everyday I have more and more students stopping by my classroom wanting to know how to get involved and help out with The Children Hunger Project club. At the last meeting the classroom was standing room only.  It was outstanding to see so many students wanting to help less fortunate students in need in Brevard County."
