Inspirational Note...

In 2015, while in Singapore a devotee asked Swami how, in a crisis, to remove fear and confusion and seek answers from within. Here is an excerpt from Swami’s answer:

Learn to live by your heart; calm down the mind. A simple tip to remember: the mind is controlled by the breath. That's why you see that when you get angry, you start breathing fast. When you get excited, you start breathing fast. However, when you're happy and peaceful, you breathe slowly. Breath is fuel for the mind. Therefore, in such situations, control your breath and calm your mind. Let the noises of the mind fade away and diminish and let the voice of the heart be heard. If you practice listening to your heart in happy times, you’ll be able to listen to it even in difficult situations. Practice will help you deal with the situation correctly. Those who study throughout the year need not be afraid of the exams; only those who have not studied will be afraid.

Pooja Sai Ashram Blood Donation
Seva Activity May 2018
On May 20, 2018, youth and families from Pooja Sai Ashram came together fo the quarterly blood donation activity. This is a routine ashram programme where members of the ashram, youth and other people join together to donate blood. The programme was held in cooperation with the Tabanan Regency Reg Blood Cross. Youth and ashram members had begun preparing the venue for three days before the programme.

The ashram was cleaned, rearranged, and prepared for the donation programme. In the beginning, they were concerned because only a few people joined the donation. The medical team had prepared plentiful blood bags for the occasion as they were expecting a large number of donors. Thankfully, more and more people came to donate. In the end around 29 bags of blood were donated. The group hopes the simple donation of blood will ease the burden of those suffering.

Swami Planted the Seed of Wanting to Help
God came into my Life as Sathya Sai Baba when I was a teenager. He quickly opened my eyes to people who craved love and care through the Seva activities in our centre. Through these activities, Swami planted the seed of wanting to help in the early years ...
I am very grateful to Swami for allowing me to be part of His Divine Mother and Child Program. Here in Melbourne, Australia, a medical team, which are part of the Health in Kind Foundation have been fortunate to develop a working relationship with a non-profit organization called Vicseg. Vicseg works with new refugees to the country. They provide support and assistance in accessing government services and to settle them into Australia.
