Community Shredding Event

This free community shredding event is open to Sea Pines Property Owners. Commercial quantities are prohibited. Staples are allowed, but paper must be removed from binders.

Successful Blood Drive Held

Sea Pines CSA sponsored a community blood drive on Friday, May 3rd in partnership with One Blood. The event was held at the One Blood Mobile in the parking lot of the Sea Pines Community Center.

Valerie Althoff, Donor Recruitment Supervisor for One Blood, reported that Sea Pines had exceeded the goal set for the number of donors for this event.

Thank you to our owners who generously donated in this effort to help others. Our next Community Blood Drive will be held later this fall.

Sea Pines CSA Maintenance Updates

Repairs underway on Beach Boardwalks affected by Hurricane Matthew

Beach Boardwalk #23 is nearly completed and is expected to reopen this week.
Construction work on #22 will begin the week of May 13.
Remaining boardwalks damaged include: #20, #21, #24, #25, #26, #29, #31, #32, and #33A.
Beach boardwalk #40 will also be replaced (not storm-related).

Santee Cooper Power Line Vegetation Trimming To Occur

Santee Cooper will be in Sea Pines the week of May 13 conducting vegetation trimming along the power line easements. This work is being completed in an effort to properly maintain the landscaping along these easements.
Work will occur at the following locations:
Trolley Lot 1 located off of Greenwood Drive
Near the CSA Administration Building located at 175 Greenwood Drive
In proximity to the Rice Dyke Leisure Trail

South Island Public Service District (SIPSD) to conduct waterline replacement on Audubon Road

SIPSD will conduct a waterline replacement on Audubon Road scheduled for May 14, this work is expected to take approximately 7 days to complete.
Water outages during this work should be expected and SIPSD will distribute door knockers to homes that will be affected by their work.
