Counties to Governor:
Please Sign Our Bills!

MACo sent two letters to Governor Hogan this week, each asking that he approve and sign into law one of MACo's top legislative initiatives for the 2018 session. The multi-year Highway User Revenue funding, providing a major influx of local roadway funds, addresses a longstanding county need. The Next Generation 9-1-1 Commission will bring together local and state players in advancing this essential public service. MACo is hopeful that both bills will be signed into law, capping off a very successful legislative session for county governments.
