Primary Elections are June 5th!
Regardless of political affiliation or leaning, one of the most important things social workers can do to bring about change is to vote in elections. Congressional primary elections are Tuesday, June 5. Let your voice and the voice of the social work profession be heard.
NASW PACE has endorsed two social workers running in NJ Congressional primaries.
Tamara Harris
is running in the Democratic primary in the 11th Congressional District. She received her MSW/EMPA dual masters from New York University and works as a family advocate and divorce coach. She has also taught at the NYU Silver School of Social Work. Click here to read an Op Ed Tamara authored about running for Congress as a Social Worker.

Peter Jacob
is running in the Democratic primary in the 7th Congressional District. He earned an MSW from Washington University in St. Louis and has championed such issues as health care reform, environmental sustainability, and immigrant integration.

NASW-NJ salutes Tamara and Peter and will keep you updated on the status of their campaigns.
