Congratulations to all of our team members and friends who raced in IM 70.3 Chattanooga in May! It was awesome to see all of the pictures coming up on Facebook, and to see some of the finish line videos that got captured. Great work!
We're looking to continue our race season with Nat Greene's Revenge on June 9! This is the next 2018 TTT Race Series race, and you've got 3 different options to earn points towards our series: An On Road Tri, an Off Road Tri, and a Duathlon! We expect to have a great turnout for this race. If you're there to race or volunteer, be sure to come by the TTT tent and get your name down on the sign-in sheet so that you can get your series points properly!
We've also been having great turnouts at Hal's for morning swims. As the weather and water temperatures get warmer, we'll likely be transitioning over to Mary's for the summer months where the water stays a bit cooler. Mary schedules her swims on a separate Facebook group, so if you're not a part of that and would like to get involved, be sure to look for her on Facebook, or contact [email protected], and I'll get you setup for an invite.

Meet Paula Jones!
Meet Paula Jones! See that smile in the pic, that is Paula. Behind that smile is determination. She rocked her first 70.3 in Chattanooga this past May with other TTT members. Paula has been doing triathlon for three years now and keeps working hard to meet her goals. You may see her with Ralph Crook, her hubby who trains with her. Paula says she saw a 75 year old lady on the Chattanooga course and thought, "It does not matter your size or age, if you set your mind to something, you can do it!"
Wise words we can all follow.
If you see Paula, tell her congrats on being our Athlete of the Month!

Saturday, June 16, 8:30-9:30 am
Coach Karon Buxton will be hosting a bike skills clinic for our June team meeting! We'll be going over several topics during the clinic, including basic rules for road riding and safety, learning how to navigate through an obstacle course, handling water bottles, and more. The clinic should be accessible for all skill levels and abilities, and will leave new rides with a great deal more confidence while providing more experienced riders with a great refresher. The clinic location will be in the main parking lot of the Northern Guilford High School off Spencer-Dixon Road.
Be sure to bring your bike, helmet, shoes, and a water bottle with you, as well as any other riding gear you think you would need. This will be an active clinic with plenty of hands on activities. Be sure to arrive a bit early, so that you have time to unload your bike, pump up your tires, and you're ready to start at 8:30 sharp!

Tuesday Night Social Runs have been going on, go out and join them at where Payless Shoes used to be, to run down the greenway. ALL PACES WELCOME!
Weekend bike rides and OWS are posted on FB page as well.
