Don't drop the ball and forget to sign your child up for youth T-ball, baseball or softball this summer.

Registration is open until Monday, May 13, and leagues start as young as age 4. The season starts when school lets out for summer, June 17-August 16.

New this year are the addition of pre-season clinics and additional field time. Cost is $119 resident & $142 non-resident. Leagues are Co-ed T-ball for Pre-K, Coach Pitch Baseball for Boys Grades 1-2, Softball for Girls Grades 1-2 and Fastpitch Softball for Girls Grades 3/4 & 5-7.

Check out the Novi Choralaires Spring Concert on Saturday, May 11, at 7:30pm at the Novi Civic Center.

This talented community chorus is made up of residents from Novi and surrounding areas. Their concert is titled "Nella Fantasia" and songs will reflect the City of Novi's 50th Anniversary.

Tickets are available at the door and cost is $12 adult, $10 seniors and children under 12 or groups of 10 or more.

Spring is the perfect time for you and your dog to get outdoors!

The Novi Dog Park is conveniently located just south of the 10 Mile and Novi Road intersection behind the Novi Ice Arena. The three-acre, off-leash dog park offers ample activity space for dogs of all sizes.

For the safety and comfort of dogs and their owners, nearly 3/4 of an acre is set aside for small and/or timid dogs and nearly one and a half acres is available for all other dogs. Parking is available at the location and at the Novi Ice Arena. Membership is $30 per year plus a $20 deposit for the key fob. 

The large amount of rain that has fallen on the area over the last couple weeks has caused flooding at Rotary Park.

As a result, River Day, which was scheduled for Saturday, May 4, has been cancelled. Your next opportunity to volunteer for a Novi CARES Day is 9-11am on Saturday, June 1, for Cemetery Clean-Up at the Novi Road Cemetery.
