Principal's Message
GOC families, please help spread the word that full-time registration opens on
Monday, February 3
for new families who are interested in attending Gwinnett Online Campus beginning in the Fall 2020. Interested families should visit the GOC website to learn more about our upcoming Informational Sessions/Tours and how to reserve a spot for the 2020-2021 school year.

BREAKING NEWS...
GOC to Open Full-Time Registration to New Families for the 2020-21 School Year
Full-time registration for
new families with students in grades 4-12, interested in attending GOC full-time for 2020-21, must complete the registration process during the
month of February.
Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis. Interested families are encouraged to
sign-up to attend an informational meeting and tour the school's campus on one of the following dates:

Tuesday, February 11 at 10 a.m. (Grades 9-12)
●
Wednesday, February 12 at 10 a.m. (Grades 4-6)
●
Thursday, February 13 at 10 a.m. (Grades 7-8)
●Wednesday, February 26 at 6:30 p.m. (Grades 4-12)

Attention Current GOC Families!
Registration for new families will be open for the
month of February on a first-come, first-served basis. For planning purposes, all existing full-time GOC students will be automatically re-enrolled for the 2020-21 school year.
Current families are encouraged to register any
new students early in February to ensure space.
Current families with students
who will be new
to GOC will need to register their child during the open enrollment period beginning Monday, February 3.
If you know your student
will not return to GOC next year, please let us know as soon as possible so that we may open the spot to a new family during full-time registration. If your student will not return to GOC next year you will be required to come on campus to withdraw your student in May 2020 after final grades have rolled.

February Video Announcements and add these important events and reminders to your calendar. Be sure to note that GOC has Virtual Week in February. Don't forget to look for the code word in this video and stop by to see Ms. Gelderman in the Productivity Center to be entered into a drawing to win a special prize.

Grades 4-12: GOC's 4th Annual Gaming Tournament
Students are invited to attend GOC's 4th annual Gaming Tournament on
Friday, January 31 from 9 a.m. - 1 p.m.
To register and pay for this event, please visit your
MyPaymentsPlus account. Any student that attends this event who did not pay ahead on
MyPaymentsPlus may still participate or be a spectator by paying at the door. Please note, if you are paying at the door there is no guarantee of pizza or best bracket placement for competitors.

Grades 6-12: Student Leadership Meeting (SLT)
Students in grades 6-12 are invited to attend the next Student Leadership Team Meeting based on your weekly lab schedule:

(pre-meeting will run from 1-2 p.m.)

Student Leaders who are also involved in "Madagascar" rehearsals should plan to split their time between the meeting and rehearsal.

Grades 7-12: Faculty vs. Staff Tournament
Students in grades 7-12 are welcome to participate in the
Faculty vs. Staff Tournament on
Tuesday, February 25 from 1-2 p.m. Students in grades 4-6 are welcome to come cheer on their fellow classmates and teachers.

There is no charge to participate in this event or to come as a spectator.
Student Leadership will be selling concessions at this event for $1.

Parents and students, in an effort to raise awareness of the dangers of vaping, please take a moment to read this

We encourage all families to have discussions concerning the health risks associated with
e-cigarettes and be aware of this current epidemic.
