The Arc Lane County and Families Connected will host an Art Exhibit on Fri., March 8 showcasing the photography of Jon Christopher Meyers.

Meyers photographed families, youth and adults with disabilities for the soon-to-be-published book, Dreams without Limits - Changing Perceptions about People with Disabilities

Join Families Connected for a fun day at the Capitol for DD Advocacy Day on Tues., March 5. Email Nancy to join the Families Connected carpool. 

Bring the kids to make a Captain Marvel craft with Families Connected and meet some superheros at the Regal My Way Matinee on Sat., March 9. 

Families Connected will host a sho wing of Barbara Coloroso's video  Kids Are Worth It  on Tues., March 12. The video will be followed by parent discussion and a Q&A session with a local behavior specialist. 

The University of Oregon Speech Language and Hearing Center will host a Augmentative and Alternative Communication Caregiver Support Group on Thurs., March 14. 

Parents are invited to come connect with other parents at the Parent Coffee in Florence and the Parent Coffee in Junction City on Mon., March 18.

Children and parents who love to learn about science in a more quiet environment are invited to check out the Eugene Science Center's Sensory Sensitive Evening on Wed., March 20.

Parents and caregivers can learn how to use the LifeCourse Framework to plan for and diversify supports at  the Real Life, Real Plans training on 
Wed., March 27.

The Oregon Family Support Network will host a  Family-led Legislative Advocacy Training  for  children's mental health on Tues., April 9 in Springfield.

Research Opportunities 
The University of Oregon is looking for youth ages 14 to 24 who experience an intellectual disability and their parents to participate in a research study about the mental health of youth and young adults with 
intellectual disability. Students and parents can each earn a $50 gift card.

Another University of Oregon research study is looking for adults (ages 18-30) with intellectual disabilities to talk about work impacts their life and identity. Participants in this research study will earn a $15 Amazon gift card. Contact James Sinclair for more information.
