Playing Up Reminder: 2009 and younger

Please remember that the “playing-up” rule was changed beginning in the 2017-2018 season which may affect players who are in the 2008 and younger birth years. The rule provides that players are only allowed to “play-up” into an older age group through the U-10 age group and even then only with pre-approval from the LFC Director of Coaching.  What that means for this upcoming year is that no 2009 or younger player is permitted to play up into the U-11 or older age group; instead, any 2009 or younger player who may be currently playing on a 2008 (U10) team will remain in the U10 age group and should register for the 2018-2019 season as a 2009 player.
