Mr. Pennington has over 10 years of experience in public accounting and specializes in providing financial statement and tax services to privately held businesses and nonprofit organizations. He is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in Connecticut and California and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He received his B.S. in Accountancy from San Diego State University.

Helping Small Business Owners Navigate the 2018 Tax Changes
A free SCORE Small Business Workshop co-sponsored by The Trumbull Library
This workshop will go over the key changes that are going into effect from the new “Tax Cuts and Jobs Act,” and the implications it has on small businesses and small business owners. The goal of the workshop is to provide business owners with adequate information to maximize the benefits that the Tax Act provides.

- Overview of the changes under the Tax Act
- Examples of ways other small businesses are benefiting from the Tax Act
- How to stay informed as more details of the new law are communicated
- Things to watch out for or avoid
