Join Our Children & Youth as They Lead Our Service This Sunday!
From the communion bread to the decorations, from the sermon to the prayers of the people, our young people have prepared a thoughtful worship experience to share with all of us at 9:30. Join us afterward for a reception honoring our new confirmands AND our Youth Art Show! Our Youth have been working all year to create art based on the "Fruits of the Spirit."

Taizé Service for Mother's Day 5:30PM - This Sunday
If you are in need of an hour of quiet prayer and meditation, please join us for a time of grace and peace. This candlelit, contemplative service will include readings, prayers, and silence interspersed with tuneful chants accompanied by violin.

Wanted: College Students and Parishioners! 
Summer Sale No: 95 is just over a month away and we're rounding up muscle to help move boxes from storage to the Big Top Tent on Friday, June 7 from 7:00AM - 11:00AM. Even if you only have an hour to spare, please reach out to Annie Adams to lend a helping hand.
Parents, we can use help throughout the month of May so consider sending your college kids our way!

Last call Parishioners!
Donation Doors will close on Sunday, May 12 through Sunday, June 9 in preparation for our June 8 Rummage Sale. Patio furniture, wicker, rattan, summer clothing and bikes are highly coveted Summer Sale items so if you're entertaining a donation, please consider Rummage. Donations are accepted at the back entrance of the Schroeder Building, which is located at 700 Oak Street, weekdays from 8AM to 4PM and weekends from 8:00AM to noon. In response to parishioner suggestions, the Vestry has created a private LinkedIn group to allow Christ Church parishioners to connect professionally. On LinkedIn, search
"Christ Church Winnetka" and click on our group name to request membership.
We encourage our younger parishioners who are away at college or who have recently graduated to join as well since many parishioners have expressed interest in mentoring others interested in their fields.

Human Foosball Tournament: Saturday, May 11 
Christ Church youth in 5th to 12th grade will host and compete in a human-sized foosball game! Youth groups from all over the city are invited to join us - so bring friends! We will play from 11:30AM to 1:00PM on Saturday, May 11. Lunch will be provided.To

Come do IMPROV with friends! All 5th - 8th graders are invited for an evening of fun and team building. On Friday, May 31 from 6:00-7:30PM at 784 Sheridan Road, Winnetka, a priest-and-improv actor-team will lead a spiritual worship on the theatrical technique of improvisation. Pizza provided!

A Just Harvest on Tuesday, May 14
(5:00PM - 7:00PM)
Christ Church serves twice a month at A Just Harvest, a community kitchen, in Rogers Park, serving dinner 365 days a year to anyone in need. This is a great family opportunity to "reach out." We need cooks (done in your home), servers, and people to provide milk, fruit, and salad each time we are "on deck."
