Dear Parents and Families of the Mentor Schools,

I fully realize the challenges of raising children today in a digitally-driven world. As a district, we understand our responsibility to not only expose students to technology but reinforce the best ways to take advantage of its power. We are making a commitment this year to introduce a K-12 Digital Citizenship curriculum which you can learn more about below.

Your support of our efforts at home can only strengthen our partnership in preparing your children to make excellent use of technology. Future monthly email communication will provide parents with further information about digital citizenship lessons being taught and ways that parents can help.

Thank You,
Digital Citizenship

Mentor Schools is committed to helping our students use technology responsibly. To help all K-12 students become responsible digital citizens, we will be implementing the full K-12 Common Sense Media curriculum. Each grade level has five lessons that will be taught throughout the school year that emphasize the skills needed to be a responsible digital citizen. Click here to learn more about this curriculum.
Mentor Public Library and The Hub

Thanks to a partnership with the Mentor Public Library, The Hub is now open every Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday from 3:00-8:00 PM. We invite both students and community members to enjoy The Hub’s state-of-the-art space, wifi, computers, and technology.
Schoology (Grades 6-12)
Schoology is a platform that all of our teachers in grades 6-12 use to post content and keep students informed of upcoming quizzes and tests. Parents can have access to all of the material posted by teachers in Schoology by completing the following steps:
  1. Go to the Mentor Schools website - Click on Parents and then Schoology.
  2. Select "Forgot Password" and input your primary email from the Parent Portal (Infinite Campus). Please check the Parent Portal if you are unsure of your primary email address.
  3. You will then receive an email from Schoology allowing you to set your password.
