Letter from the BOD President:
Dear Friends,

It's full steam ahead into summer for the arts alliance! We're gearing up for some exciting events and programs. I'm particularly looking forward to the Artist Appreciation Concert in Wood Park on Wednesday, June 12, where we'll present the 2019 Artist Appreciation Award to Jeannette McClellan, a beloved Hudson High School music teacher.

Another very exciting development: the state of Massachusetts has given the Town of Hudson the right of first refusal to purchase the Armory property in downtown Hudson. The Hudson Downtown Business Improvement District has formed a steering committee to determine the feasibility of turning the Armory into a Community Art Center, and they are looking for community input to gauge interest, build support, and develop a sustainable business plan for the space. This would be a huge boost for the arts in Hudson, and I hope our River's Edge Arts Alliance community will show their strong support for the project by responding to the online survey.

Looking ahead, we're also SO excited to announce that the River's Edge Players will be back with fall musical, The Addams Family, in late October. More details are available below - save the date to audition and get spooky with us!

Best regards,

Anna Klashka
President, REAA Board of Directors
