CalUsource Comes of Age!

The CalUsource team celebrated their first-year anniversary with hands-on refresher trainings in northern and southern California in February. 100+ CalUsource users were trained on CalUsource fundamentals and advanced capabilities. Going forward, the CalUsource team plans to host semi-annual refresher trainings to enhance the user experience and adoption.  Read more
uBuy: Coming Soon to a Campus Near You...

Everything from Avery labels to Zebra fish DNA can now be purchased through 'Bobcat Buy' at UC Merced! A fully functional campus catalog shopping system, with seventeen initial suppliers, is live for UC Merced on the shared Jaggaer platform (uBuy) through UC.
Procure-to-Pay = Powerful Opportunities
'Procure-to-pay' has a ring to it, doesn't it? That's because implementing this strategy provides control and visibility over the entire life-cycle of a transaction. This not only provides insight into cash flow and financial commitments, it can also eliminate inefficiencies and reduce mountains of paperwork.   Read more
Lead Agency Marketing Program (LAMP)

Last year, UC Procurement delivered over $380 million in benefit to the University of California. But what if UC Procurement could benefit more than UC campuses? What if every school district that sends students to UC could buy through the contracts we create? What if the UC programs that promote sustainability in our procurement agreements could be offered to every college and university? Jumpstarting Campus Revenue Generation

Developing new, sustainable sources of revenue is an important strategy being pursued at UC campuses to develop firmer and broader financial foundations. As part of the recently approved MCI for SupplyChain500, the President has approved funding for a 2-year pilot program to help campuses jumpstart their Revenue Generation (Rev-Gen) activities, with the goal of mobilizing multi-campus partnerships.  Read more
UC Benefit: You Make a Difference!

Created in 2015 during the systemwide P200 Initiative to account for savings and revenue generated by procurement transactions, the UC Benefit Program has evolved to support the SupplyChain500 initiative to reach $500M in annual benefits. Since its inception, the UC Benefit program has achieved $1.5 billion in benefits across 11 locations. In FY2018-19 alone, our combined 11 locations have already achieved $298M in benefits!   Read more
Airbnb for UC - Work Hard and Travel Easy

Time to get onboard with the new ' Airbnb for UC ' program launched by the UC Central Travel Office in October 2018. 

Already, thousands of UC travelers - employees, students and guests - have stayed at Airbnb for UC lodging throughout the US and global locations. They've saved the university money while enjoying a unique business travel experience.  Read more
