2016

This beautiful and enticing wine from the Basque region of northern Spain is made from the Hondarrabi Zuri grape variety. The wine is bright and racy with a touch of effervescent to add to is refreshing nature. A hint of salinity echoes the influence of the Atlantic Ocean which the vineyards overlook (see picture in the link below). I can't say enough nice things about this wine and look forward to tasting it with you.

Greetings from Burlington Wine Shop,

We have a great mix of new wines from the Old World for you to enjoy at today's tasting. These wines will blow you away with each one outdoing the last in a lineup I can't wait to share with you. We look forward to seeing you later this afternoon on this beautiful, almost summer day.

              Saturday, June  16th  - 1:00 - 7:00pm

We'll begin today's tasting with I Am Pinot Grigio ($9.99), a light and refreshing summer white with stone fruit flavors and a clean finish, followed by Agerre Getariako Txakolina ($19.99), a bright and slightly effervescent white from northern Spain with piercing acidity and hints of salinity that make your mouth water for another sip, and we'll finish off the chilled wines with Paul D Rosé ($11.99), a dry Austrian rosé made from Zweigelt with a ripe core of red berry fruit and a racy finish. For reds we have Chapelle-St-Arnoux Ventoux ($10.99), a Grenache and Syrah blend from southern Cotes du Rhone with rustic, brambly undertones framing ripe red fruit flavors, and we'll finish things off with Onix Priorat ($20.99), a big red blend of Grenache and Carignon with dense dark fruit flavors and mature, chewy tannins that linger into the long finish.
