Ideas for the entire year can be found

June 17
On this Father's Day or some day this week, remember and share the memories of the men who have been a positive influence for you in your life with your family and friends. Write one or more of them a note to thank them for what they have done and how they have helped you.
June 24
This week is Helen Keller Deaf-Blindness Awareness Week, with Sunday being Celebration of the Senses Day. Read Mark 4:35-41. What might the disciples have felt, heard, smelled, seen, and/or tasted in the boat with Jesus? Give thanks to God for the different ways your senses help you experience the world around you.

Two of the saints recently passed away - Arvie Maynard and Leonard Hood. Arvie was the pastor of the Edgewood Presbyterian Church in Lewisburg prior to his retirement in 1997. That was the only congregation he had served. Leonard had a much longer ministerial career, finishing up as the pastor of the First Presbyterian Church, Buckhannon and as the Special Presbyter for Quadrant 2 before he retired in 1999.

Calendar order delayed
Unfortunately, there was a printing error that resulted in the planning calendars having to be reprinted. Now, they will not arrive at the PC(USA) warehouse in Louisville until later this month, making it the end of June at the earliest that we will receive them here at the office. We will let you know when they are available.
