SPOTLIGHT
Attendance Counts!

More than 4,300 students in the Bellevue and Lake Washington School Districts were "chronically absent," in the 2016-17 school-year. This means they missed more than 10% of the school year.

The Attendance collaborative of Eastside Pathways  brings together partners serving Bellevue and Lake Washington school districts in a coordinated effort to get the message to parents and the community when the new school year begins.

2018 Bill Henningsgaard Fund for Children Grant

Eastside Pathways is accepting proposals from partner organizations for the 2018 Bill Henningsgaard Fund for Children Grant from May 21 through June 25, 2018.

The purpose of the Bill Henningsgaard Fund for Children Grant is to assist in bettering the lives of and creating opportunities for children of all ages, cradle to career, through leveraged programs in Bellevue. The ultimate goal of Eastside Pathways is to prepare each and every child to succeed in college and career, so they may have a productive and fulfilling life. By reducing inequalities, increasing career exploration options, focusing on soft skills and social emotional learning, we support all our youth on their own pathways for success. The 2018 grant will be directed to programs that help facilitate this goal.

The expected award amount is $5,000 and will be presented by July 23, 2018.
