God creates, and creation grows. We see it all

around us as trees take up the gifts o

f their environment and offer shade and habitat. We see it in the birds that are transitioning from babies to fledglings. And we see it in ourselves and those we love as we enter fully into the new season of summer and realize the ways we have grown since this time last year. Growth is all around us and deep within us as the Kingdom of God planted and nourished grows and shares its abundance with us and those around us. God creates and creation grows. Come nourish that seed, come bask in that growth, come celebrate God's Kingdom this Sunday . It might just change your life!

Vacation Bible School - T Shirt Deadline is Tuesday, June 26th. Please get your Registration Forms in so that we can get a shirt ordered for YOU!

WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

-Junior Helpers (5th-8th Grades)

-Adult Leaders (9th Grade and Older)

-a "treasure chest", or a treasure chest shaped box/ chest/ basket that we can make into a treasure chest.

-Volunteers for "lunch." Maybe you can't come all week, but can come to serve lunch one day? Approx. 11:30am - 1 pm to serve lunch and clean up so that the Snack ladies can EAT and/or GO HOME.

LOOKING FOR VOLUNTEERS FOR NURSERY CLEANUP PROJECT :

Wendy is looking for 2-4 individuals that could take a few hours during the week to come in and make our nursery sparkle again! Wipe down walls, wash off toys, clean up counters and furniture. Toys have already been sorted by our office volunteer Susan Rice. Please call Wendy in the office if you can provide this blessing for our tiniest members.

NEW DATE - MAKING BREAD EVENT

Join Pastor and baker Jim Carlson in the kitchen,

6 p.m. to make bread for August communion AND for giving to visitors during Sunday morning service. FREE event and a great opportunity to learn something new while fulfilling a primary mission of God's church. Please sign up on the clipboard in the Narthex.

Thanks for all the crushed aluminum cans, and keep them coming!!!! Please put only cans in the bin, as plastic bags plug things up and disrupt the ease of the distribution process.
