Happy Public Works Week!
Public Works Week collage
The  American Public Works Association  recognizes National Public Works Week every year during the month of May. For this year, the official week is May 19-25. The City of Eugene 's Public Works Department held their  Public Works Day  event on May 16 and the Wastewater Division represented well! Despite the rain, several hundred students and community members showed up and went through the booths to learn about what services are provided by the City.

The  City of Springfield 's Development and Public Works Department held its Public Works Week event May 22-23. Roughly 450 third grade students participated in carnival activities and an equipment rodeo. Happy #NationalPublicWorksWeek!
You're Invited to Get Outdoors Day on June 1
