Washington County recipient of two paving awards
Washington County Department of Land Use & Transportation received awards for two 2018 rural road paving projects from the Asphalt Pavement Association of Oregon.

The Hagg Lake Perimeter Road and the River Road shoulder widening and paving projects were awarded second and third place, respectively, in the rural road category. Contractors for the projects were Brix Paving Co. (Hagg Lake) and Eagle-Elsner, Inc. (River Road).

Awards are based on attention to detail, uniform texture, smoothness of joints and matches, smoothness, overall appearance and degree of difficulty.
LUT offices will be closed Monday, May 27, for Memorial Day.
