PRINCIPAL NEWS NOTE
Dear St. Alphonsus Families,

As we wind down the school year the school will undergo some changes.  Some of our classrooms will be moving and so those teachers are boxing up their items to make a move. We will be adding a couple more smartboards to our classrooms and our 6 th graders will be getting brand new Chromebooks.  We will have 1:1 Chromebook usage in the middle school.  Each child will get a Chromebook that will be theirs exclusively.  I spoke with Maureen Radish today (she came into the building and surprised the 7 th graders after their field trip) and she is excited to come back to St. Alphonsus.

With our middle school the two 6 th grade homeroom teachers will be Nancy Schwemmer and Maureen Radish.  Mary Kay Boyle and a new science teacher will be our 7 th grade homeroom teachers and Holly Ligocki and Peter Strangfeld will be our 8 th grade homeroom teachers. They are already excited by the changes and improvements in the middle school and are looking forward to the new school year.

I am sad to say that Ms. Rebecca Uciechowski in K4 has decided to accept an opportunity elsewhere.  We wish her the best of luck and will truly miss her! We are starting the interview process for finding a K4, K5 and a MS science teacher for next school year.
Finally, Home & School is still looking for a treasurer for next school year.  Are you good with money? Have a brain for finances? Love to count change? Come join the school parents already signed up to help our Home & School.  No experience is necessary but having enthusiasm for our school. If interested contact Tanya at [email protected].

Have a wonderful weekend!

Mrs. Stallmann

7th ANNUAL GUARDIAN ANGEL WALK

Thank you to all of our St. Alphonsus Families who participated in the Angel Walk this year. We appreciate all of your support. We were able raise $5100; we couldn't have done it without you.
SPECIAL THANK YOU FROM MRS. SOKUP

Once again saying thank you does not begin to express my gratitude for your generosity. It’s been a long journey, but have welcomed my time at school to keep me going physically and emotionally. I appreciate the prayers and good thoughts through the year from many school families, friends and my family. All of this has lightened the load and for that I am blessed.

With gratitude,
Linda Sokup
