Sharing Resources for Families of Children with Special Health Care Needs

What if our young adult son doesn't want guardianship?  Does  he have choices for independence?  What is the difference between shared decision-making and supported decision-making?   This website from Quality Trust for Individuals with Disabilities in partnership with Family Voices and Parent-to Parent USA can help! It has resources, stories, and other helpful information for families and providers.

2017 was full of many challenges, and also a LOT of great work helping families navigate the complex world of health care for children and youth with special health care needs. Check out some examples of the ways in which the Family-to-Family Health Information Centers and Family Voices State Affiliates in each state are helping families.
