Atlas (EMR data tool)
Many of the following new features and improvements in Atlas are thanks to clinical and research faculty working closely with the CHDI team, customized for the Einstein-Montefiore platform.
· Atlas now automatically and securely integrates with your IRB protocol information. This will facilitate and improve regulatory compliance and IRB reporting.
· You can securely upload your external cohorts into Atlas, including CLG cohorts. Simply upload a file with the MRNs of interest and analyze the data in Atlas.
· Once you have created your cohort, you can link to your IRB protocol and download EMR data for your own cohort. Atlas will encrypt the file, so your data is protected.
· Coming soon to Atlas: Atlas will be fully integrated with REDCap so that the data you extract from Atlas can be securely imported to your REDCap project.

REDCap
A major REDCap upgrade is scheduled October 2nd to make it accessible via the new domain. This will enable added features and additional security. For more information about REDCap, click here.

Trial Innovation Network for SIRB Services
|
|
As of January 2020 the NIH has mandated the use of a Single or Central IRB for federally funded, multi-site trials. Investigators seeking SIRB services may submit their project request through the Trials Innovation Network and are assigned to one of the three TIN Single IRBs (Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, University of Utah & Vanderbilt University Medical Center) for oversight. Contact Zoe Tsagaris, Clinical Trials Network Manager to learn more at zoe.tsagaris@einsteinmed.org or contact the OHRA for general SIRB questions at singleirb@einsteinmed.org.

E-Regulatory Binder System Available
|
|
The Acuvia e-Regulatory Binder System, managed by the Office of Clinical Trials, is the perfect solution for your remote regulatory workflow needs. Acuvia facilitates the organization and management of regulatory documents in an FDA (Food and Drug Administration) and GCP (Good Clinical Practice) compliant way. The system eliminates the need for physical binders, has electronic signature functionality, and allows for remote collaboration with colleagues and study monitors. For more information on how to obtain an electronic binder for a new study, please contact Carmen Rodriguez.
Disclaimer: Due to FDA 21 CFR Part 11 compliance requirements, existing paper binders cannot be transitioned to Acuvia.
