Our busy recital season is upon us!  We are sending more newsletters than usual this spring and we appreciate you taking the time to read them. Please review this whole newsletter, there is a lot of news we want to share with you including a recap of Picture Day and Ticket Ordering information.

NEW! Recital Ticket Message Board-

 

In an effort to assist our families exchange unwanted tickets that were purchased, or obtain additional tickets, we have implemented a message board on our website. We will activate the message board Monday May 7th.

If you are trying to sell your tickets, there is a quick form to fill out which will generate a post. If you'd like to buy tickets in addition to the 6 you are allotted for I'm With The Band, this is the page to check out. 

When you've sold your tickets please email us at info@elitedancestudio.org to let us know and we will remove your post.

Picture Day-
 
P icture Day is Sunday May 20th.  Mark Your Calendars! Pictures will be taken at the studio by Northwest Sports Photography.  Order forms will be sent home with dancers the week of pictures.

*If you will not be attending Picture Day please let the front desk know or send us an email so we are not waiting for your dancer.

We have a full stock of recital tights available to purchase at the front desk. Remember... Dancers need to have the correct tights by Picture Day.  It's always a good idea to buy an extra pair, just in case...plus they can wear them for class later.  If you have questions about your class tights, please feel free to ask their teacher. 

 
Recital/Picture Day Hair and Make Up!
The last attachment will outline the required hair style for each class and will also give some helpful hints and products for appropriate stage make up.  Remember, make up is an important part of the dancer's overall look on stage.  
 
Teachers have 
discussed with each class how to wear their costumes hair accessories, but don't worry; the teachers will be on hand at Picture Day to make sure everyone matches!  It's a great "dress rehearsal" before the big show!

You will be receiving your Recital Packets newsletter May 21st.  This packet will include rehearsal schedules, show information, dressing room assignments, room mom sign up and more.

Our recital tickets are now on sale.  Please click this link to purchase tickets.

"Midnight Serenade" - Ballet Performance 

Showtimes: 
Saturday June 16th, 4:00pm
Saturday June 16th, 7:00pm
Ticket Price: $12.50 each (includes service fees)

**You do not need a special code to purchase tickets and there is no limit to the amount of tickets you may order.
Auditorium is general seating, we will not have assigned seats. 


"I'm With The Band" - Spring Recital

Showtimes:
Friday June 22nd, 6:30 pm
Saturday June 23rd, 11:00 am 
Saturday June 23rd, 5:00 pm  
Ticket Price: $15.50 each (includes service fees)

There is a total limit of 6 tickets per family for our recital "I'm With The Band". 

**You do need a special code to purchase these tickets. 
The code is your dancer's first name and last name 
with no spaces and the letters are not case sensitive. 
If you have 2 or 3 dancers in your family please enter your dancers first name in alphabetic order.  For instance if your dancer's names are Abby Brady and Morgan Brady you will enter AbbyBrady as your special code (no space). If there is a hyphen or apostrophe in your dancer's name, please do not enter it.

If we do not sell out of tickets by Saturday June 2nd, we will remove the limit of 6 ticket sales per family for "I'm With The Band". At that time the remaining tickets will be sold first come, first serve. Your special code is still required. Auditorium is general seating, we will not have assigned seats.

This list was generated by the information filled out during the registration process, but we want to double check.  We would feel so bad if there was a mistake or we missed someone!

Dancers who appear only in our ballet shows will be recognized on Saturday at the 7 pm show.  All other dancers will be recognized at our Saturday 11 am show.
 

Elite Performing and Competitive Company Auditions for the 2018-2019 Season-

 

We will have a parent/dancer informational meeting at Elite on Wednesday, May 30th from 7:30 pm to 8:30 pm. If your family is interested in finding out what Elite's Dance Companies are all about, please plan on attending this meeting. Audition applications and the audition schedule will be handed out at the meeting.   
 
Auditions will be held at Elite on Sunday June 3rd.

Summer Classes & Camps-

 

Registration for Elite's Summer Camps and Classes is open and camps are filling up quickly.        

Elite's Summer Session will run July 9th-August 17th summer    
 
 

Fall Session 2018-2019

 

Fall Pre Registration will open May 14th and will close July 14th.  Any registrations that come in after July 14th will go on our "wait list".
   
Fall classes will begin on Monday, September 10th
