Many Thanks from BOA
Blue Oak Academy is incredibly grateful to some very special community partners.

Girl Scout Cadette from Troop 128, Madycen, was kind enough to build BOA some library bookshelves and donate over 15,000 library books. She also took the time to label each book! Madycen loved to read as a young child and was inspired to help build the library. She received donations in money and resources from fellow citizens and Lowes.

Students from University Prep High School's Helping Hands Club also contributed books through their service learning project. These students solicited donations of over 1000 children's books for the future Blue Oak Library and classroom libraries! The primary leaders involved in this project were Abigail Terry and Ms. Kyra.

Thank you to both the Girl Scouts and UPHS students for putting more books into the hands of BOA students! We are so grateful.
