Did you know?

Reusing is more beneficial to the environment than recycling!

Just think about all the saved energy!
Summer break is approaching, and the kids will be out of school!
What are you going to do with all of your newly found free time?

Get Creative!
That is, after a nice relaxing vacation. :)

Here are a few great ideas to get those creative juices flowing.

1. Start an indoor/outdoor vegetable garden.

Egg cartons are great for starting a garden yourself from seed.

Two-liter bottles make excellent holders for floating walls
 of herbs and flowers.

2. Old tires can easily be made into decorative chairs and foot stools.

3. Large cable spools can take new life as coffee tables on wheels.

4. Start saving those milk and water jugs for cute lighted ghosts this October.

5. Have a love for tennis?
Re-purpose your vintage rackets from the corner of the garage into new wall art in your home with a simple mirror.

6. Finally, all you men and women with scrap wood in your workshop, plan a craft day with your kids and grandkids and build something creative.
*See what other non-recyclable items you might have for embellishment, like metal bottle caps, buttons, or old paint.

Have fun  Going Green,
one creative project at a time.
